What Will I See In Canada I love to travel! One of you intended destinations is Canada. It is such a vast country. I haven’t planned out my trip to Canada yet as there are so many great cities to visit and site to see. I just don’t know where to start! I would definitely have to see the Rocky Mountains. I can picture the lakes and the deer there.
I have been told that I can’t go to Canada without seeing Niagara Falls. I’ve heard the sight and sound of them are the highlight of the trip for most people. The Falls are fifty four meters high, but it is the force of the water that is breath taking. You can take a cruise or fly over in a helicopter. The Falls are illuminated at night, complete with a firework display. I might decide to visit a vineyard or go to the Botanical Gardens because I love butterflies. There are numerous other activities I could take part in such as mountain biking, kayaking, cross country skiing, golf, and fishing in either Lake Ontario or Lake Erie.
Calgary sounds like an interesting town to visit. It hosts the biggest rodeo show in the country. You can climb to the top of Calgary Tower for a great view from the observation deck. Vancouver is impressive to me. I am told it has excellent restaurants and unbelievable shopping opportunities. It is also famous for its artists’ workshops and markets.
Chinatown offers gymnastic displays on Sundays as well as the Museum of Anthropology and an Aquarium. Stanley Park might be a great place to get fresh air, relax, and gaze at the enormous trees.
Toronto is another city I want to see. It has a great nightlife scene as well as designer fashion shops, museums, and theatres. It has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with different ethnic districts. There is a Chinatown, Koreatown, and a Little Italy. I find exploring the various cultures exciting.
Quebec City has a fascinating history behind it. The historical district has a legacy left by the British and the French who fought for supremacy. It is the only walled city in all of North America. You can choose to take a cruise down the river, visit the Chateau Frontenac, and view the entire city from the vantage point of Cape Diamond. I guess I had better get to Canada soon, there is so very much to see and do.
